Travel Health

If you are travelling abroad, please make sure you contact us in plenty of time to arrange any vaccinations that may be necessary. To help the travel nurses assess your travel needs it is important that they are in receipt of the assessment form before your appointment.

Please visit the Travel Room for more information.

It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible and at least 6 weeks before you travel – as a second appointment may be required to receive the vaccinations.

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS. Please ask reception for our charges.

Travel vaccinations should be paid for on the day of the appointment by cash only.
